Today was sure a busy day. Other than the fact that nobody believed that I felt something like a mild earthquake where tables and chairs were shaking and sounds of wall cracking could be heard around 12noon, morning session was basically N O R M A L. :-/ (I really felt it!)
But when I returned after lunch, I saw a crowd building up outside my doctor's room as fast as ants come gathering for the sugar.
When the doc arrived, the patients all rushed in the room like there was gold. They were all tall and tough, I had to fight me way in.
It's really not an ideal situation when your patients are waiting like this in front of you. They should wait outside! Can you see the "when is my turn" face? So stressful.
But I've got to say this doctor is fast, his speed is about 3.9 minute a patient.
I thought this couple was cute so I took a pic of them, as well. :-)
2 hours passed, but the crowd was still here.
When is this going to end? To make it worse, I had to put up with writings like this:
Credits to anyone who could make out all the words. I already had because I had to copy all these to many sheets of paper for the patients to buy the medicine.
Alas! Last patient! Do you know how many patients he had for the 3.5 hour? It's freaking 53. It's so nerve-racking my arteries almost bursted.
It's day like this I don't feel like cooking or eating alone: they called me a wacko for the earthquake thingy, ok? The whole hospital didn't feel a thing. Oh well...
So I met up with my colleagues for dinner. And why weren't I surprised at all when they ordered:
Xi Hong Shi Cao Dan - Fried eggs with tomatoes
TU DOU SI - Hot and Sour Potato shreds
Tang Cu Li Ji - Sweet and Sour Shredded Meat
What is wrong with these people? Is this another conspiracy? They want to virtually BORE me to death by ordering the same food over and over again, aren't they? What have I done to deserve this? @_@
And when I suggested to order this:
They all showed me a sour face telling me how horrible the dish was.

Ya lah, it's Chinese! I have to confront the same challenge everyday going for practical. Worse is, there are different doctors everyday.
