Mushroom Trance

I was tyding all the mess inside my bulky bag that made me a laughing stock in Mountain East today.

They called me the thief, the traveller and the what-are-you-doing-with-such-a-big-bag girl. Carrying big bag's just not a Mountain East fashion.

Not so big wah.

I have thought of buying a handbag, but everytime I opened my mouth they knew straight away I'm not local and started to apply the Petaling Street approach: marking up everything to 400% or more. Chinese are all cunning wherever they are.

Anyway, these were what I found inside my bag:

Omit my laptop, there was my pencil case, a number of notebooks, my water bottle, my hair clip, a mushroom tea bag, my wooded comb, my... hang on... mushroom tea?

I've almost forgotten about this intriqing pack of tea. You see, many weeks ago I was sitting next to a traveller that looked like an ABC/BBC/(insert first alphabet of a country)BC while on my way to KLIA in a KL-Express train leaving for Beijing.

I was busy SMS-ing goodbyes to everyone when he suddenly gave me this bag of funny looking tea. He said "For you my lady, it's very good for you."

Huh?

Being the usual good mannered Yeng, I thanked him. "Lovely, thank you! I like tea a lot." And gave him my big innocent smile.

I didn't really check it out, I just thought it's cool to drink tea of mushrooms that looked like they were from Nintendo's Mario Bros game.

But gee... Mushroom tea, Magic Dreams with Multi Trance, Amsterdam! What the XXXX!
They even printed the URL on the bag: www.multitrance.com and offer some other drinks like this!

Holy cow!

I quickly checked the ingredients of my precious bag of mushroom tea, it read: dried raspberry leaves,
maté, dried champignons, champignon flavours. Just some leaves and mushrooms.

All looked pretty normal to me, but what is
maté?

I did a check on
maté and apparently maté should be correctly spelt as Yerba Mate. It is some sort of much loved exotic herb from South America that can boost your mind and make you energetic.

According to mymateworld.com, you are supposed to drink mate like the Indians
from a cup (gourd) and straw (bombilla).

I was really tempted to try it out man. But, gee... I still don't know how to brew the mushroom tea!

Can someone enlighten me on this?

as with any other kind of tea know to humankind, the preparation is simple. JUST POUR THE BLOODY HOT WATER IN, sit backand relax, coz in a few minutes time, you won't have a care in the world.

What tea? What mate? What taste? Who cares? Coz I'm free, like the birds, like the wind.....

Ahem, sorry got carried away.

Ya, just pour the water in OK?

ya... being the usual 'innocent' me... I could have got into trouble, man. But I think the Mushroom Tea is nothing vile. The most I'll get is only a trance night IN my room. haha.

I think Superflower needs the tea more than I do.

Hold in mind way too that some are larger sized than others due to the fact they
are created to withstand continuous use inside a health club;
chances are you'll choose to choose a smaller model for your personal very own dwelling.
