Fake DVD-R

I was asked to copy some reading material for my colleagues
He passed me a pack of DVD-Rs of 10 that he bought here in Jinan which costed about RMB 18 (so cheap)

At the speed of 8X, my laptop usually takes 10 minutes the MAX to burn a DVD.

But it's taking FOREVER with his discs.

And my DVD burner software kept telling me that there are fingerprints on the discs and it couldn't complete the burn.

So I checked.

Yo, got scratched! How can a newly bought DVR-r get scratched so fast?

Then I checked the rest. Wah... so scary!
The aluminium coating is incomplete!
Absolutely NO quality control!

It's Sony, you know!
5 out of the 10 are defective!

But somehow I've got a feeling is FAKE Sony.

What do you think, James and Charlie?

Alamak.... can you get refund in China? Probably not.... any other 'got cheated' incidents? So that everyone watch out during their china trip. Be careful of what you eat..... no quality control.

The nice thing about a communist country is you can refund anything that's not working properly or even changed your mind for purchasing it. So yes my colleague is going to refund them loh

IMO, its fake. Or at the most, rejected stock that should never come to market.

Good thing that he can ask for refund lor. Must always remember with computer stuff; be wary if its too cheap. and always check the product whenever possible before leaving the store.
