Beijing... day one (night)

After visiting Guo Yi Tang 国医堂,we head back to the FREE accommodation provided by them.

It's a 3 star hotel and a double bedded room is priced at RMB 480. Crazy. And, it looks a bit middle eastern if you ask me. But nice overall because it's free.

We chit-chatted a bit and slept for about 20 minutes after which we went out to explore Beiijing at night.

We took the public transport and I'm well too impressed by their buses. It's like 3 buses being connected into 1. It's bloody long.

Then we took the underground tubes. It's kind of complicated because a lot of reading is required.

Here you go, Chinese underground tube.

We arrived at the Forbidden City. Of course, it's already closed by this time of day. But it's beautiful.

Then we went to the famous Wang Fu Jing, the chinese equivalent of London's Oxford Street I believe.

And, friend, do you miss me? I must say I don't look like myself in this photo.

Hidden in Wang Fu Jing is the famous Gourmet Street. Unfortunately, my batt went flat so I couldn't share all the fantastic food here. But if you ever visit Beijing, please do not forget to drop by this food haven.
